Of course! You can choose to display your name, an alias, or even a web site. Whatever name you choose will be given credit for the tutorial.

What happens if I get caught copying a tutorial that someone else created?

This is a major offense here. Your account will be suspended, all of your other tutorials will be deactivated (on the chance that you forged those as well) and you will be IP banned from the site. I know this is strict, but copyright infringment cannot be tolerated.
